In the Cebu area, the roads connecting Carcar City to Barili are essential for the transportation of goods, services, and people along the southern corridor. However, ongoing construction and heavy rains have led to severe flooding, significantly disrupting travel and impacting local residents. To tackle these challenges head-on, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has initiated the Carcar-Barili Drainage Project, aimed at enhancing road safety and functionality.

This project incorporates KPMI Covered Wall HDPE Pipes, available in diameters of 1000mm and 800mm. These pipes are exceptionally durable and built to last, making them the optimal choice for drainage systems. Their robust design ensures they withstand damage and simplifies the installation process. By effectively managing stormwater during heavy rains, these pipes protect the roads from the deterioration that often occurs in frequently flooded areas.
